Postgraduate Research Assistant
Liz has worked in the field of climate change and international development for the last six years, with a particular focus on climate change adaptation and resilience. She has worked as a consultant in the Sustainability and Climate Change team at PwC, delivering sustainability projects to clients in the public and private sector, on issues ranging from building climate resilience and sustainable urbanisation to responsible investment. She has worked for NGOs, both in the UK and overseas, with her most recent experience at the charity, Cool Earth, managing a portfolio of community-led rainforest conservation and livelihood development projects in Peru, Papua New Guinea and DRC. She has a MSc in Environmental Technology (specialising in Global Environmental Change and Policy) from Imperial College London and a BSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of St Andrews. Outside of work Liz is a keen scuba diver and loves being outdoors; she is currently training for The 3 Lakes Challenge in July.
